After a false start in Brisvegas Blokesworld Live went ahead on the first weekend in October at Qld Raceway in Ipswich and what a hoot! Big props to all the fans who made the trek out to Ippy, some from as far away as Perth, and to all the great exhibitors who had to make some hasty re-arrangements to get to the event after the disappointment of the cancellation in Brisbane and the rather major financial hit that we all took. In soaring heat we had a steady stream of people thru the gate all weekend and the smile on their faces certainly made all the effort seem worthwhile. Matt Mingay was a standout performer all weekend on two wheels and four and Shuie flipped his KTM all weekend. The boob cruise stand had a big crowd [ wonder why? ] and Peaches at the ‘Emmy Lee’ stand was an attraction hard to miss! Hard to put into words how well received the bikini bull riding and lingerie pillow fighting events were other than fu*k$ng awesome! A local truckie took out the trailer reversing and the lads went blow for blow in the strongman competiton. Big thanks to that funny bastard Chris Franklin who kept us in fits during [and after] the event and the bands and performers who made it such a great weekend. We had no injuries,fights, stabbings or any lewd behavior to report so well done most of all to our great fans. We hope to put on events in other states next year as well so we look forward to seeing ya there!
